Anggota Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Seberang Takir, Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman meletak jawatan sebagai ketua pembangkang DUN Terengganu.
Setiausaha Badan Perhubungan UMNO Negeri, Datuk Muhammad Pehemi Yusof berkata, UMNO Terengganu mengesahkan menerima peletakan jawatan itu menerusi surat daripada Ahmad Razif beberapa hari lalu.
“Sehubungan itu kita mohon DUN Terengganu membuat surat kepada UMNO Negeri bagi mencadangkan nama baharu sebagai ketua pembangkang.
“Di pihak UMNO Terengganu buat masa ini belum mengadakan sebarang mesyuarat bagi memutuskan siapa yang akan memegang jawatan itu…siapa yang akan ganti akan diputuskan oleh Pengerusi Badan Perhubungan UMNO Terengganu iaitu Datuk Seri Ahmad Said,” katanya ketika dihubungi Bernama hari ini.
Media Terengganu hari ini menerima kiriman WhatsApp yang butirannya menyebut Ahmad Razif yang juga bekas Menteri Besar meletakkan jawatan melalui surat kepada Yang Dipertua DUN, Yahaya Ali bertarikh 4 Februari lalu.
Yahaya ketika dihubungi Bernama kemudian berkata, beliau belum menerima surat berkenaan kerana sedang bercuti.
Ahmad Razif dan Ahmad Said gagal dihubungi bagi mengesahkan perkara berkenaan. – Bernama
